# Seven-day practice plan

*One focused action each day. Keep it small enough to finish. Skip a day if needed; this is a sequence of prompts, not a streak.*

## Day 1 — Notice
Review three pieces of work you enjoyed. What did you do? Who benefited? What conditions helped? Write down one pattern.

**Artifact:** a short list of work you want more of.

## Day 2 — Name
Complete: “I help [people] make progress on [problem / opportunity] by [kind of work].” Make it plain, not perfect.

**Artifact:** one draft sentence and one question to test.

## Day 3 — Ground the numbers
Use the pricing worksheet to estimate a cost floor, available delivery capacity, and one project's effort. Mark assumptions clearly.

**Artifact:** private pricing notes, not a public rate promise.

## Day 4 — Get aligned
Fill out a project brief for a real or imaginary project. Identify the most important unknown and how to resolve it.

**Artifact:** a usable brief and a next question.

## Day 5 — Reach out thoughtfully
Choose one person or organization where you have a genuine, relevant reason to write. Draft a personal note; review for usefulness and pressure. Send manually only if welcome.

**Artifact:** a considered draft—or a decision not to send.

## Day 6 — Make delivery easier
Imagine receiving your final work as a busy client. Use the QA checklist. Add one small detail that reduces confusion.

**Artifact:** an improved handoff outline.

## Day 7 — Choose one next move
Review the week's artifacts. What feels clear? What still needs a conversation? Pick one realistic next action and schedule it.

**Artifact:** one next step with an owner and date.
